Irvineside Farm, Elora. Nature. Comfort peaceful
Irvineside Farm homestead, circa. 1860

Escape from the city! Gardens and greenspace surround our historic brick farmhouse, circa.1860. Part of the region’s Bon Accord Settlement, this homestead was originally named Irvineside Farm for the Irvine Creek that runs near this property to this day. This creek is part of the Grand River Conservation watershed – and we are respectful of this important water source and surrounding environment. It is a tributary to the Grand River that flows down through the Elora Gorge, where it joins the Grand River at the point of Lover’s Leap, in Elora’s Victoria Park. (A must-see stop on any visit to Elora).

The homestead of Irvineside Farms is authentically beautiful and we’ve worked hard to maintain the natural heritage of the property, enhanced with rustic set-up of 12 glamping tents, intentionally situated throughout the property for pristine country views – sometimes, even with cows!

Sometimes the neighbours are curious.

We have outdoor games to set up some friendly competition. And of course, a fire pit – because night skies are even better with roasted marshmallows and spider dogs, (don’t worry, they aren’t really spiders, or dogs). Summer nights are amazing here. Star gazing is worth the experience.

The forest entrance to the property has a trail cut through, with respect for natural habitats and flora and fauna. It’s our own enchanted forest!

adventure explore Elora bike trails
Hiking, biking, bird-watching, strolling, wandering aimlessly … it’s all good at Irvineside Farm.

The renovated 1,400-square-foot horse barn is a great place for small event gathering, a meeting or workshop area and small events for corporate guests or private functions. The barn has WiFi, if you need it. It’s also ideal for indoor games, our “Take a book, Leave a book” library, and family space for our guests to gather.

The barn is a shared space for our guests to gather, play games, share a meal or just hang out together.

The property also includes a four-place luxury washroom trailer, with each individual washroom featuring a full-sized shower and plenty of hot water and privacy. Clean and comfortable, it’s what makes the glamping experience just a little more like home.

Even at night, our 4-full washroom trailer is lit up so guests can find their way in the night to a washroom that is comfortable and clean.
