Irvineside Farm is the perfect place to launch an adventure, and rest afterwards too. Inspired and owned by CK Maggs Adventures, (sisters-in-law Cathy and Kathy Maggs) this farm has been a place for nature-lovers and adventure-seekers for years.
In 2023, CK Maggs Adventures welcomed a new crew to take on the day-to-day operations of this special place. Talk about a dream job! And a dream home too. It’s a great story.
Kelly Waterhouse and Bruce Taylor have raised their family and longed for country living. Bruce is a retired carpenter who spent two decades commuting from Elora to Toronto to work on major GTA construction projects. Happy to end that commute, but not quite ready to hang-up the tool-belt, he was keen for a new adventure. A certified country-boy, he also longed for wide-open spaces.
Kelly is a known columnist/journalist, having worked in both print and broadcast media in our community for two decades. An extrovert, she is keen to share the best places to experience the arts and cultural activities here. She knows her pubs and restaurants, and loves the natural places, the trails and the landmarks that make Fergus and Elora unique.
They love where they live and we think you’ll understand why when you experience it for yourself. There is something special about Irvineside Farm. There is something special about the historic towns of Elora and Fergus. But don’t take our word for it. Come experience it for yourself.
